How to Prevent Internet Marketing Overload in Your Inbox
Posted by admin - 08/06/09 at 09:06 pmThe first thing you must do to protect your sanity, when it comes to internet marketing information, is to create more than one email address. One email address is for your personal use for family and friends. Another email address (preferably a free gmail address) can be used to opt in and get as much free information as your brain can stand.
You have to be careful that you do not fall into the trap of getting more and more free information, e books, videos, free telephone seminars, webinars, and any other kind of nar that can be invented. Once you begin giving out your email address to the internet community, your email in box seems to be filled faster and faster with all the marketers trying to build a relationship with you. (If you only had the time). And even though its fun and informational to learn all the new tricks, gimmicks, and can’t miss modules that will make you a quick fortune, you have to be selective otherwise you will be spending an hour a day just figuring out which emails to open and which emails to delete.
It is often tempting to put a check mark in the top box in your email and click delete and eliminate 100’s of email in a second or two. It feels good to have a clean slate, even though you might have missed an important email or two from the President of the United States. The problem is that if you wait a day or two, the emails will be back again, as these internet marketers are relentless in the pursuit of your money.
The only solution is to spend a fair amount of time figuring out which email senders are worth your time, and unsubscribing to all the rest. It will make you feel better, and eliminate the anxiety of seeing countless emails in your in box from well meaning people you never even heard of. So take your time and investigate who the people are by clicking on the search engine, looking up their name, finding reviews (if any) and seeing what these people are all about.
Authors of actual books, or numerous online articles on a particular topic are worth your time. And so are popular bloggers who love to give free info, but will not hound you to death with the ultimate, one in a life time, you will never see this again, money making extravaganza.
